Clamp cross bolts are integrated into two steel recoil lugs to eliminate scope base movement during heavy recoil. That means you maintain zero better than ever. The scope ring bases utilize threaded steel inserts, preventing the internal threads from being stripped by the ring cap screws. The threaded inserts also extend the lifespan of the rings if you decide to change out the optic.
