Just adopted by the US Coast Guard after passing their tortuous endurance testing requirements, the SEI USCG / Navy Muzzle Brake is designed for extremely rapid follow-up shots with the hard-hitting 7.62mm NATO caliber M-14 service rifle. Provides 25-35% decrease in felt recoil and nearly 100% decrease in muzzle climb over USGI flash suppressor. This time-proven design, with it’s 14 gas ports is now made from 1144 Stressproof cold drawn barstock steel for greater durability, tensile strength, and yield characteristics, provided in a manganese phosphate finish.
The M14 USCG / Navy Muzzle Brake is not compatible with the SEI M14DC Sound Suppressor, which requires the use of the Vortex DC Flash Eliminator, P/N 2000V. Installs with issue castle nut.
