CUSTOMER SERVICE


Cobra Tactical appreciates your business and tries very hard to meet the demands of all of our customers. After all, it is our customers who make us what we are. And we thank you for that. We respect all of our customers until given a reason not to. If you have a question about your order or about any of the gear we carry or don?t carry, call or email us with your inquiry. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: Should any of the gear on your order state a lead time, please refrain from contacting us regarding the status of your order within the stated lead time. Lead times are typically based on information provided to us by our suppliers. Lead times have a tendency to change from time to time, so stated lead times are a rough estimate. If your item is "SPECIAL ORDER," Please understand that this may include one or more of the following: Made To Order, Special Order (Ordered for you, because it is not in stock), Out of Stock, and Back Ordered from our Suppliers. Sales are FINAL on Special Orders. Exceptions: 1. gear can no longer be obtained because the manufacturer is no longer making it. This is determined by the manufacturer and Cobra Tactical, Inc. 2. When Cobra Tactical, Inc offers a lead time in writing and we are unable to meet that lead time. Refunds or store credit may be offered on a case by case basis at Cobra Tactical, discretion. Refunds, when granted on Special Order items will incur a 25% cancellation handling fee.


Delays in receiving gear from our suppliers does not constitute poor customer service. During periods of increased sales, it may be difficult for Cobra Tactical to receive incoming phone calls, return phone calls and emails. We will continue to implement measure to improve our customer relations. We appreciate your patience and understand it can be frustrating. Just know we are handling your order and will ship to you at the earliest possible time. 


Our system charges your card at the time of checkout. This is quite common. Please do not notify us of this. If you do not wish to pay for gear at the time of your purchase, please refrain from shopping at Cobra Tactical, Inc.


Special Order, Lead Times, and Ships Immediately are displayed on our product page. Occasionally inventory can be corrupt due to several factors. If you order an item that states Ships Immediately, this means it will ship as soon as we can pull it from our shelves, pack it and generate an label from the common carrier. Delays due to the Currier, Mother Nature, or just weekends, holidays etc are typically beyond our control. Other delays during periods of increased sales following elections and school shootings are also beyond our control. Gear ships as soon as possible. If you order a item that states "Ships Immediately  and we discover the item is actually not in stock we will attempt to get that gear and contact you with our anticipate lead time. You may be required to issue a written response requesting that you are keeping your order open. We may choose to cancel the order at our discretion without notice, to avoid prolonged frustration. In this case no cancellation fee would be incurred.


If you need the gear before the stated lead time, call us before placing an order. We may be able to get the gear in for you or even drop ship it to you in less time. There may be a nominal handling fee for expediting the order. If one of the items in your order carries a lead time, the order will ship complete once all the gear is in. If you need to have the in-stock part shipped faster, either order the in-stock items separately or phone the order in, so we can handle the order appropriately.

 

We know that ordering SOME of the gear we carry can take a while to get, so we do the best we can to state the approximate lead times so you know roughly how long it will be. Lead times are provided to us by the manufacturer and are often dependent on several factors. Stated lead times are approximate and can change without notice at any time. We have no control over a manufacturers lead times. Custom made to order items cannot be canceled once our Purchase Order is sent to the manufacturer, NO EXCEPTIONS. See below for a list of made-to-order items.

 

When contacting a Cobra Tactical, Inc during normal business hours we will answer the phone. If for some reason you cannot get through to us, please try again in a few minutes. If after business hours you may leave a message. When speaking to our representatives, please conduct yourself in a professional manner. We want to help you but it is against company policy to continue a phone call if a customer becomes unreasonable, swears or acts anything less than professional. If your call is suddenly terminated, you may wish to call again and try a more subtle approach. If you continue to act in an intolerable manner we terminate the call and block your phone number and may report you to the authorities. So be nice and let?s work together.

 

We reserve the right to refuse service without explanation.

 

RIFLE MAGAZINES

Due to the high demand for 10 round magazines, Cobra Tactical reserves the right to substitute magazines of equal value to fulfill orders.

 

PRICE CHANGES

Cobra Tactical, Inc. reserves the right to change prices at anytime without notice. 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cobra Tactical, Inc. attempts to ship orders as quickly as possible. As a result once an order is placed through any method (website, mail, fax, or phone) we will not be able to cancel your order once the order has been processed, nor will we be able to stop it from shipping. 


Cobra Tactical Reserves the right to cancel orders at our discretion; a 25% cancellation charge may be applicable.   

 

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANCELLATIONS.  By purchasing from this website and from Cobra Tactical, you acknowledge and agree to this and all of our Policies.

 

Orders for custom made items are non refundable and cannot be canceled. Custom made items are defined below.

 

CUSTOM MADE ITEMS/SPECIAL ORDERS

We provide top-of-the line gear from many manufacturers. Some of this gear is custom made to order and some are special orders. Here are some of those item categories:

 

Holsters, Nylon Gear, Body Armor, AR-15 Uppers, name tapes, rifle optics.

 

Here are some of the manufactures that are considered made to order companies:

SOTech, Safariland, BDS Tactical, VooDoo Tactical, Stag Arms, Cobra Tactical, Inc, Vanguard, DPMS, Rock River Arms, L-3 Communications, EOTech, Trijicon, Elcan, Aimpoint.

 

FIREARMS

ALL FIREARM SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS OR REFUNDS. THIS INCLUDES CUSTOM OR SPECIAL ORDER UPPER RECEIVERS AND LOWER RECEIVERS. 


GUNSMITHING

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED UPON PICK UP. ESTIMATE IS ALWAYS IN WRITING. WE TRY TO STICK TO THE ESTIMATE. 


RESTRICTED ITEM POLICY

Please be advised that if you are purchasing an item that is restricted to Agency or Government purchase only that no finance charges are refundable.


RETURN POLICY
All returns must have a return merchandise authorization (RMA) from Cobra Tactical, Inc® and may be subject to a restocking/handling fee of 25% of the purchase price. Cobra Tactical is not responsible for gear returned without an RMA. Any shipping charges and credit card transaction fee (3%) will not be refunded. The shipping cost for returns is the responsibility of the customer. If we ship you gear other than what you ordered we will take care of it and get you the correct gear.

 

Returns and refunds are handled as fast as possible but may take as much as two weeks to process through our returns and accounting departments.

 

No Return Period

All custom made and special orders are considered non-refundable and cannot be canceled. If the gear is discontinued or becomes no longer available from the manufacturer you will be refunded the full invoiced amount.

 

Cobra Tactical, Inc does not accept returns or offer refunds on consumable items such as food, MRE's, fuel, chemical lights, batteries, lubricants, adhesives, paints, filtration systems, or other similar products.

 

No refunds are available on ANY weapon part including weapon magazines. Custom made-to-order items, special orders and discontinued items must be prepaid and are not returnable or refundable. See Custom Made Items/Special Order Section for additional information.

 

Cobra tactical does not accept returns on used items, items missing original packaging, damaged items, or items missing Universal Product Code (UPC). Services rendered such as gunsmithing, shipping and handling charges and similar charges are not refundable. Software is not refundable or returnable. Items returned will be inspected and if the all of the above stated conditions are not met, the customer will be notified to determine method of payment for sending the gear back to the customer. If customer cannot be contacted within 30 days, item will be destroyed and the matter considered resolved and closed. Any returned item which is not complete, missing any piece, part, or assembly of the item will be subject to review and at the discretion of Cobra Tactical, be partially refunded minus the cost of replacing the missing piece. If missing items cannot be replaced, no refund will be issued. No refund is offered for shipping and/or handling. Shipping fees associated with returns shall be the responsibility of the customer.

 

20 DAY RETURN POLICY

No returns will be accepted after 20 days from the original Cobra Tactical® shipping date. We recommend that you open your package immediately upon delivery to ensure that you received the correct gear. Should you need to return an item, other than specifically discussed herein, it may be returned within this time period for a refund, exchange or store credit, minus shipping & handling fees if applicable. Other conditions for returns may apply. Please read through the entire returns policy before contacting Cobra Tactical about your return.

 

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Defective items should be sent to the manufacturer.  Please contact the manufacturer before shipping item to them and get a Return Authorization from them and follow their direction. Cobra Tactical will assist you in returning the item to the manufacturer; however understand that shipping cost and time can be saved by going straight to the manufacturer. Please do not send defective items to Cobra Tactical.  We will not accept the package.

 

PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
In the case where promotional items are made a part of an order and that order is returned, the promotional item should also be returned. Should the promotional item not be returned, the value of said promotional item may be deducted from the total order price.

 

ORDER OPTIONS

We prefer that you place your orders through our secure internet as we find that this save time. It also allows us to focus on maintaining the website and contacting our manufacturers so we can keep the gear coming in. However if you feel more comfortable making an order over the phone, please call us. If you are interested in getting a quote for your department, unit, agency etc, please email us and/or call us. You can send your order to us through the mail with a certified check as well. Make sure your contact info is clearly legible, your order correct, tax and your shipping cost paid for.

 

WARRANTY/GUARANTEE
All products sold by Cobra Tactical are covered under the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Cobra Tactical does not offer any warranty or guarantee for any product, unless it is made by Cobra Tactical, Inc; in which case the warranty/guarantee would be made available with the product. If an item arrives damaged, contact Cobra Tactical immediately. If the Packaging is opened and/or items(s) are missing, do not accept package and contact Cobra Tactical immediately. You may need to contact the shipping carrier to report a claim. Once the package leaves Cobra Tactical, the customer is responsible for the gear.  However we will assist you whenever possible.

 

Please check the manufacturer's warranties and or guarantees for their products. Cobra Tactical, Inc® does not express nor implies any warranty or guarantee of any products manufactured by others.  Cobra Tactical, Inc® will honor manufacturer's warranties and guarantees (See our return policies for details) WARNING: Do not put any products sold by Cobra Tactical in the washing machine unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer. Please follow all Manufacturers instructions.

 

BODY ARMOR POLICY

Cobra Tactical only sells body armor to currently employed Police Officers, Fire/Rescue, Military and Security Guards. A current and valid ID will be required to be kept on file at Cobra Tactical before you will be allowed to purchase of any body armor items.

 

KNIFE POLICY

Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:

(1) to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government: (2) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National guard, or militia of a State, Territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of such organization; (3) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or of the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory; (4) to manufacturers of such knives or bone fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).

Note: Available for sale to Armed Forces or Law Enforcement or Government personnel.

Please check permissibility within your state or locality. Cobra Tactical is not responsible for laws, restriction or other policies which you may be governed by. You assume all responsibility for the gear you purchase and the consequences for your use of said gear.

 

Other Knife Restrictions

Until Further Notice, due to the current New York knife laws, Cobra Tactical will not ship knives to the City or State of New York. 

 

PRODUCT DELIVERY
Getting you your gear is our business. That's why Cobra Tactical, Inc® makes every effort to get you your gear in a timely manner.  Processing and shipping of products may be immediately or may take a few days of receipt of the order. We ship with UPS and USPS. All products on our site have in-stock notifications, ships immediately or stated lead times. We cannot guarantee that items will be in stock due to lag times in our inventory and due to simultaneous ordering of the same item. Out of stock merchandise will add delays to shipping. Cobra Tactical notifies our customers automatically once the order ships and provides tracking information at time of shipment. It should be understood that our stated lead times are approximate and based on information provided by our manufacturers and therefore be guaranteed. Although rare, some discrepancies can occur in our inventory control system, which may result a product being out-of-stock when the website states it is in-stock. We will notify you immediately upon this discovery to determine the best means to resolve this.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
All shipping rates are calculated using the latest technology offered by our couriers. We do not set the shipping rates. If you feel that the calculated shipping rates are high, please contact us and we can look into it for you. There may be a logical reason or it may be an incorrect weight is entered for a particular product.

 

Some products carry handling fees such as high dollar items. This handling fee ensures the item is insured and delivered to you. If you feel that this fee is unnecessary, please contact Cobra Tactical. We may be able to wave this fee for you if certain conditions are met.

 

Large or heavy packages may require additional postage. The shipping rates are based either by weight or by dollar amount and weight. UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. Overnight and Next Day shipping are available at additional charges.  Back-ordered items or items with lead times will ship as soon as they come in following the shipping method you choose. 

 

If you choose expedited shipping, your in-stock items will be picked up at 1500 hours if orders are placed before 1400 hours. Items not currently is stock will be sent according to your selected shipping method once they arrive at Cobra Tactical. It should be understood that expedited shipping methods are just that: SHIPPING METHODS and should not be mistaken for a guarantee of delivery within a certain time period. If you need your gear within a certain time period, please contact us so to determine it is possible. Once the shipping courier takes position of the package, Cobra Tactical is unable to intercept the package.

 

USPS and uninsured UPS packages are the responsibility of the recipient/customer at the time the courier takes possession of the package. This includes lost packages. Please contact the courier and Cobra Tactical, Inc should a package become lost or damaged. Cobra Tactical will assist you in creating a claim.

 

Cobra Tactical reserves the right to change and/or alter shipping methods from those selected at checkout without notice. Free shipping applies to CONUS. No free shipping to any international, Hawaii, or Alaska addresses. 

 

International Shipping: Cobra Tactical ships internationally. We Do NOT ship restricted items internationally. We take this very seriously.  

 

Restricted Items: Any and all firearm related parts and/or accessories WILL NOT be exported outside the United States. This is governed by ITAR and Cobra Tactical likes it here. Rifle scopes, fuel, software of any kind, body armor, chemicals, liquids, controlled uniforms, gear made with controlled or restricted military patterns will not be exported.

 

All international shipments must comply with the shipping regulations for the intended country of delivery. Please check your local laws and any restrictions. We will not alter the invoice to reflect a lesser amount than what was actually paid. Please do not ask us to do so. If you order a restricted item, you may forfeit any finance charge incurred during the transaction and for the refund of the order.

  

APO/FPO Shipping: Cobra Tactical ships to APO's and FPO's all the time.  There are some restrictions usually set up by the Military.

 

Cobra Tactical reserves the right to cancel or delay shipping for any reason.

 

TAXES AND FEES

All applicable state, local, federal and international taxes and fees apply and will be clearly displayed during checkout. We do not charge sales tax outside of California.

 

Cobra Tactical reserves the right to modify our Terms of Use, Policy or any other portion of this page and website at any time without notice.
