A.R.M.S.® #38™ Ex SWAN® Sleeve
.56 cal. 8.46", which provides approx. 1 1/2" of attachable Rail beyond the receiver, and has the #40™ rear flip up sight built in.
U.S. Patent No. 5,142,806 & 5,533,292. The Swan® Sleeve provides a platform that is semi-permanent to the 5.56 cal M16 type weapons equipped with a flat top receiver.
